Is Hospice the Patient’s Choice?

I read this on Fierce Care this morning but I also read the article in the New Yorker mag. It was quite wonderful and very supportive of a patient’s choice. Both my parents died at home, their choice, and hospice was wonderful. As medicine begins to admit what they can and cannot do, nursing at the bedside of the dying patient will become even more important. If you have a few minutes, I hope you’ll read this story.
